3 Ways to Beat Your Competition

Take over your podcast industry.

Your listeners are choosing between your show and someone else’s podcast everyday. Here are three ways you can be first pick.

Give them Resources

Every episode you release should be giving your listeners something valuable. I love to give my listeners a blueprint, checklist or some type of resource. Amy Porterfield has executed this process on her podcast for years. Create a set of resources that you are willing to give to your listeners throughout every episode.

Take their Feedback

Listeners need to feel like they’re part of the journey. Sharing behind the scenes content helps. At the same time, you want listeners to share what they think about your episodes. Allow them to share their opinions or perspectives on a form. Add the form into your show notes on every episode.

You can be found a lot easier if you cover trending topics. SEO and virality is a lot easier to capture when you cover things that people are searching. Add trending topics into your episode list once per month.
